Since 2018, Financial Data Exchange (FDX) has been working with Canadian financial institutions and service providers to deliver open banking and an open financial system in Canada. As a market-led technical standard setter, FDX looks forward to working with Mr. Abraham Tachjian, Head of Open Banking to advance this effort for the benefit of the Canadian financial industry. Although FDX does not take a position on legislative and regulatory policy issues, FDX engages with regulators, legislators and policy makers to ensure that stakeholders are informed and fully aware of the work that FDX does. As we work together to deliver open banking and financial systems to Canadians, FDX is committed to adapting its technology to meet any regulatory requirements – federal or provincial.
