About the Webinar
“Consent management” is a hot topic in Open Finance right now, for good reason. Several market and regulatory forces are actively shaping how implementers tackle the process of managing customer consents to share their data.
Implementation patterns: As more companies adopt APIs, a variety of implementation patterns have emerged—enabled by small and large data providers, often working closely with Data Access Platforms—for capturing, recording, honoring, managing, and staying in sync on what the consumer consents to share.
Integration challenges: A diversity of companies report significant challenges in navigating the difficulties of first standing up infrastructure to manage consent, and then integrating with counterparties whose capabilities or approaches may differ
Agentic AI tools are increasingly being used by consumers to access financial data. This has opened a fresh set of questions about how the process for granting & managing consent will differ (or not) for those tools.
Emerging regulations (currently in Canada, ongoing §1033 rulemaking in USA) may also impact the obligations companies face in how they capture and manage consents for financial data sharing.
Join this webinar to learn:
- Common consent implementation patterns that exist in the market today
